Location

Ostello a Colori is in Giare di Mira, a village near Venice and easily accessible from the Romea trunk road.
Easy to reach by car or bike, Giare di Mira is perfect for horseback riding thanks to the nearby Le Giare stables, affiliated with FISE.
With the lagoon as the backdrop, in Giare di Mira, you'll find cavane, typical huts were boats are stored, carefully lining the charming bike and pedestrian path.
Birdwatchers can visit the WWF oasis in Valle Averto, which offers guided tours and special access for nature photographers.

Venice is must-see, the starting point for the boats to the city of Fusina, just 13 km from the hostel, which can be easily reached by the nearby 309 Romea trunk road. We also suggest a day-trip to Padua (25 km): with its lively downtown, famous for il Santo, i.e. the Basilica of S. Antonio, this city offers hundreds of ways to have fun (culture, shopping, music, sports...).
You can also visit Chioggia (40 km), a smaller-version of Venice where you may want to spend a few hours at the sandy Sottomarina beach.

How to reach us

By car: - From highway A4 (Milan/Bologna): head toward Venice-airport-byway A57. Follow the signs for SS 309 Romea. At the roundabout, after you get off the byway, follow the signs for Ravenna. After about 7 km, follow the signs for the hostel and turn left onto via Giare.
- From highway A27 (from Belluno) or A4 (from Trieste): after the toll, exit at Venice-Ravenna and continue onto byway A57 following the signs for Ravenna (SS 309 Romea E55). At the roundabout, head toward Ravenna and after about 7 km, follow the signs for the hostel, turning left onto via Giare.
By train: From Venice-piazzale Roma, take the blue line bus toward Sottomarina and get off at Giare. Ask for the hostel stop.
By plane: From Venice-Marco Polo airport, go to Venice-Piazzale Roma by bus or the Alilaguna water taxi. From piazzale Roma, take the blue line bus toward Sottomarina and get off at Giare. Ask for the hostel stop.
